I was lucky enough to score a full-size sample of Lancôme’s new Hypnôse Doll Lashes Mascara via the Vogue Influencers Network, and I’m so glad. I have a love/hate relationship with mascara: it creates dark smudges under my eyes, it runs into my eyes and stings, and after trying at least 30 different kinds (drugstore & high-end) over the past few years, I thought that Too-Faced Lash Injection line was the only kind I’d stick to forever and ever.
Let’s just say that Lancôme really surprised me with this one. Volume! Curl! Extension! My roommate stared at me the first time I wore it and said, “You need to wear that every day.” And I have been. No stinging, no running into my eyes (even through a sweaty Barre Burn class), no smudges.
I think this is it. Well, until I find the next mascara I love, anyway.
